The Eaton Cottage is now open and the Summer 2026 season has begun. A few updates and a couple notes for our upcoming visitors:
- Earl Dwyer installed a new water pump for the well as the old one was corroded and seized. All systems go.
2. The guest bedroom ceiling has been replaced with pine. (Thanks for help from Jim Nagler and Erkin Kuru).
3. Living room now has new recliners. (Thanks to Eric for hauling them up).
4. Guest bedroom has new dresser and hutch (Thanks to Kelly Oxton for the dresser).
5. New microwave requires pushing a trigger button on the handle to open, so don’t yank it open!
6. We now have 5 working bicycles in the barn. (Thanks to Ben and Dave and Robyn for donating). There are two manual bike pumps as well as an electric pump and chain grease in the barn.
7. We now have a wet/dry shop vac in the barn as well as a set of power tools that we are keeping locked up in the trunk in the annex. Contact Abe or Brad for combo.

9. Have a great visit and if you aren’t planning to come up this season, we hope you visit soon. We will send out an email this fall regarding reservations for the 2027 season.
